In an effort to put into practice some of the skills that were bestowed upon us at this\u00a0years GPP 2016<\/a>\u00a0(Gulf Photo Plus which is hosted annually in Dubai around Feb\/Mar)\u00a0a few of us decided to create\u00a0a Flickr group called, Click with Purpose<\/a>. With the main aim\u00a0being to encourage us to take themed\u00a0assignment based photographs (in say a 3 month period) to hone our\u00a0skills and ensure that we actually put into practice on a\u00a0regular basis some of the techniques and skills we’d\u00a0recently learnt.<\/p>\n

Perhaps taking it a step further by rating or voting on the photos\u00a0submitted for the given theme with the highest photo voted\u00a0giving the photographer the right to\u00a0make a collective group contribution to a charity of their\u00a0choice (hence the philanthropic element). Giving something\u00a0back in return.<\/p>\n

To kick\u00a0us\u00a0off I have suggested our\u00a0very first theme:
\nB&W, emotion<\/strong> – both\u00a0of\u00a0which I rarely ever shoot outside the comfort zone.
